Yes, please list all the features you think rule MediaWiki. I have little experience with wikis besides MediaWiki and a bit pmWiki (ugh) and would like to know if there is anything better than MW.
One thing I noticed is that only English and Polish languages are available. Also there is a strange "15-minutes lock" if you edit a page so no conflicts can happen. That reminded me of racing conditions an a
neat article. But I just realized that this lock is just a mere 'warning someone is editing the page' so no problem there.
So far I have not found any superior features (only looking at the edit window) except for the fact that all extensions come apparently pre-installed. But bibtext, latex, video embedding and audio embedding, all this is possible with MediaWiki extensions.
So far it seems that it makes things easier for people who don't want to learn wikisyntax.
