Ive just looked at this and it looks perfect for what im doing .
ive just started a webhosting buissness starting to get 100meg upload and download speed
to get my buissness started and i wanted to host a mmorpg on my servers to help build
a fan base and advertising better, i was just wondering how open source is this...
is every thing to do with this open source for example do u get the source for the map editor incase i wanted to change it?
be able to edit the game and server 100pct?
graphics? or do you just get the parts they want you to have because if you do this game seems nothing
less than perfection

FIFE's license is LGPL which means you have access to all of the source and you can use it even in commercial projects.

FIFE is licensed under LGPL and can be used in commercial applications. The LGPL license does state that changes to the FIFE code itself must be made available for the public so that other can benefit from the modifications, but your client game code can be closed source.
